23 September 2010 is Planting Season day, and the goal is that 1 million South Africans unite on a single day to plant an organic vegetable in their home or office.

You can join this initiative by visiting the website www.plantingseason.co.za. The Planting Season website also offers a handy free e-book on organic gardening.

Being able to make a small but positive difference in our own backyard is well worth every effort.
